Our classes are innovative in that we teach how to do hair and the why behind certain cutting and coloring techniques. Learning this way teaches you how to generate your own skill set so you don’t have to rely on memorizing specific patterns and cuts taught by others. We have an in salon education program consisting of approximately 25 classes for the stylists hired to be on our team, and now, based on high demand, we offer online classes for stylists that want more independent learning. We currently have 2 online classes for purchase and will be adding more throughout the year. These classes will be released in the same order we teach them in salon to give you the same learning experience. We also have a complimentary online mini class on how to break down and game plan a guest’s inspirational pic! Our online classes are a great fit for any stylist who wants to level up their education!
Inspirational pictures are a great guide to know what your guest wants and likes. They can also be intimidating if you don't know what to look for or how to recognize what you're looking at. In this complimentary video, we break down the desired look by cut and color. We will apply our color and cutting foundations that we teach to recognize what techniques we need to utilize and create a game plan to recreate the look.
Our Cutting Foundations and One Length Haircut Class teaches you the different areas of the head and how to recognize them. You’ll learn how hair moves throughout the head and how that applies to hair cutting. We will go over the three shapes used in hair cutting and how to create them in the perimeter. This class is for anyone looking to expand their foundation education in cutting, and will help you realize how knowing these concepts and the why behind them will give you the confidence to recreate or create your very own cuts!
Our Introduction to Highlights Class gives you the tools to customize and create your own patterns for each guest in your chair. We discuss and break down placement and technique on all the different areas of the head. This class is for anyone looking to expand their foundation education in all things highlighting, and will set you up to achieve your own customized success with your highlight guests!
